Google’s search engine optimization efforts have become more of a spotlight in recent months.

    According to the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC), search engine traffic in the U.S. dropped by more than 10% in June and is expected to decline further.

    The FTC said that Google’s latest anti-spam initiative is working well, but there are still plenty of issues to be worked out before Google’s efforts can fully take root in the country.

    The agency said that it will continue to monitor the impact of the program on search traffic and will consider taking further action if needed.
