A man has been sentenced to 12 months in prison for running a Spoon Engine casting company.

The 32-year-old, who was originally arrested in June, had pleaded guilty to the offences.

The court heard that he used an apprentice to work at his business while he also used a fake company name to create the fake company.

It is alleged he made the payments in the UK, and was paid in full from the profits.

The defendant had pleaded not guilty to all charges and is due to be sentenced on January 13.
