BORUSSIA BAGGAGE: BORUSTEDE (DPA) – The Borussia Mönchengladbach striker Mario Götze is expected to join Bayern Munich in the summer and is set to make his debut at the Allianz Arena in the Bundesliga.
The Bundesliga’s reigning champions are looking for their first win of the season and hope to put away Borussia with a victory over Borussia Moenchengadbach at the Stadio Olimpico.
Borussia have lost only once this season but are looking to continue their unbeaten run, while Bayern have lost just once.
Götze scored the opening goal of the game in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final last week and has made 28 appearances in all competitions this season.GOTY, THE HANDMADE JOYSTICK: Borussia are keen to add a new weapon to their attack with the German striker Mario Gotze joining the club on a two-year deal.
The 24-year-old joined Dortmund from Mainz for €30 million in 2013 and has scored three goals and added seven assists in 62 appearances for the Bundesliga side.
Gonzalo Higuain will also be joining Borussia this summer from Juventus, but the Serie A giants have not revealed their plans for the former Juventus man.
